Hephzibah, GA – Brenleigh Kitchens, 20, entered into rest on Thursday, April 29, 2021.
Brenleigh was raised in Martinez, GA and was a proud 2019 graduate of Lakeside High School where she participated in cheerleading, basketball, track, tennis, soccer, 4-H, and softball. She stayed active out of school as well playing basketball for Georgia Sting and soccer for Augusta Arsenal.
Brenleigh’s huge heart will forever be remembered. She would light up the room wherever she was with her sweet smile, fiery red hair, beautiful hazel eyes and spread positivity with compliments and humor to all around. Dancing, telling jokes, spending time with friends and family were characteristic of her charismatic spirit. She brought joy to her jobs and dearly loved working at Pete Alewine Pools and Spa. She was passionate about varied issues with the dearest to her heart being racial equality.
Brenleigh was baptized at The Sanctuary Church in Evans, GA. God lived in her and her love for God was demonstrated by her actions of compassion and love for her family and friends. One of her biggest joys was helping out whenever possible with her niece, Olivia. Olivia will forever miss her Aunt B. Her heritage of strong ambition and work ethic was evidenced by her drive and desire, never asking for a handout but always offering others a hand up. The biblical passage that Brenleigh would want us to remember is Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.
A tragedy that has left us numb and empty, yet Brenleigh has continued to give and bring life to others as an organ donor. Beautiful inside and out, we will never forget our Brenleigh.
