Pete Weitzel

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, Mr. Peter “Pete” David Weitzel, 60, loving husband of Mrs. Mary Jeans Weitzel.

Pete retired from Delta Airlines after more than 20 years. He enjoyed trips to Hilton Head with his wife and playing golf. Pete will be dearly missed and will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband.

Family members in addition to his wife include his brother-in-law William Scott Jeans. Pete was preceded in death by his parents William and Carolyn Weitzel.

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Day Chapel at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Ingram as celebrant.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
