Martinez Georgia – Abbie Teresa Loeffler entered into rest July 23, 2021 age 92. A proud Irish Woman, beloved wife of Lawrence Loeffler (deceased). Abbie was born in County Kerry, Ireland. She was known for her speed as a runner and her father named her the "cutter" . Abbie immigrated to New York City in 1953 to join her sister Katherine. Abbie worked her way up to become Manager at Zabos restaurant in NYC in the AT&T building where she met her husband Larry. They were happily married for over 40 years retiring to Stuart Florida and then Augusta.

Survivors include brother, Michael Galvin London, nephew Jim Flynn, wife Nora , Evans. Nieces, grand- nieces great grand nieces and nephews in UK and USA including Kathrina Griggs (Jason) Gail Harison (Allen) Nora-Lee Eley(Mathew) and Denis Flynn . Larry's children Gail Campbell and Wayne Loeffler.

She adored her great grand nieces and nephew Campbell-Elizabeth, Alexandra-Flynn , Victoria-Brennan, Katherine- Elizabeth , James-Patrick, Fenwick-Abigail, and Mary Sawyer.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful and caring employees at Thrive of Augusta that helped her so much especially Enetric and Sharon. Also to her caregiver friends: Teresa who cared for her and humored her every day ,Velvet and Chelse also. God Bless them.

Last but not least, Nora Lee Eley, her grand niece who had a great relationship and helped every day to ensure her comfort and well being . Her devotion to Abbie's well being was unheralded and made her life so much more comfortable. We are all so grateful for Nora Lee. God bless her and Mathew.

An inurnment will be held Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park.
