Evans, GA – Agnes Chamlee Henderson, 97, wife of the late Tillman Blease Henderson, went to be with her Lord, September 18, 2011.
She was a member of Curtis Baptist Church and The Happy Thirty-niners Choir, Make a joyful Noise Quartet and a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was retired from Graniteville Mills, Enterprise Division.
Family members include her sister, Ruth Chamlee Collette and her brother Ray Chamlee both of Trion, Georgia, her son, Charles D. Howell of Hilton Head, South Carolina, her daughter Mary H. Testino (Paul) of Evans, Georgia, her grandchildren, Charles L. Howell (Donna Lee), Toyie Robinson, Cyndie Bradford (Eddie), Bellamy Murphy, the late Lisa Benetiz (Norcizo), John D. Howell, Trey Testino (Diana), Jaime Edwards (Slade), her 12 great grandchildren, her 4 great-great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Sherell Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
