Aileean Hollins

Aileean D. Hollins was born September 11, 1929 to Frank Davis and Emma Greer.

Aileean departed this life February 25 2016 at her home in Augusta, GA. Aileean had 3 brothers Frank Davis, Michael Johnson, Marion Davis and 1 sister Jacqueline Johnson who preceded her in death, 1 sister Twillie Davis of Dayton, OH.

Aileean had 6 children. 1 son Eugene Davis who preceded her in death, Sylvester Davis of Chicago, IL; Otha Phillips of Memphis, TN; Marilyn Davis of Louisville, KY; Angela Y. Parks of Yazoo City, MS; Stephanie Winn of Augusta, GA.

Aileean accepted Christ later in life; she was a devoted Nurse’s Aide at the Care Inn in Yazoo City, MS for several years. Later Aileean continued as a Private Nurse’s Aide. Aileean enjoyed gardening, canning, baking (Famous for her Sweet Potato Pies) and a love for antiquing. Aileean had a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, great-great nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. Aileean had a knack for words and saying of her own. Aileean will truly be missed.

We thank God for the Eighty-Six years that He allowed us to spend with you. We know that we are going to miss you- many times we are sure to cry. If love alone could have saved you, Mama you never would have died
