Albert F. Jorge

Albert Francis Jorge, beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 26, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on December 27, 1934, in Hong Kong, Albert was the cherished son of William Jorge and Anita Maria Jorge. Albert was the oldest of four and is survived by his siblings Gilbert Jorge, Herbert Jorge (wife, Esther), and Egbert Jorge (wife, Hiro). 

On June 2, 1956, Albert married the love of his life, Celeste Arevalo Jorge, in a beautiful ceremony at St. Margaret's Church in Hong Kong. Together, they built a life filled with love, respect, and unwavering devotion to each other and their family. Celeste Jorge survives him, cherishing the many years they spent together, and was blessed with several children: Ramon Jorge (wife, Wendy) and Jamie Wier (husband, John David Wier). He was predeceased by four of his children, Albert Jorge, Jr., Renny Jorge, Gerry Jorge, and Bernie Jorge. Albert was a devoted father who always placed his family first, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love. 

In 1990, Albert, his wife, and his daughter moved to Augusta, Georgia, where they continued to build a loving home and forge strong connections in their new community. Albert was a man of many talents and interests, with a particular passion for bowling, scuba diving and spear fishing. He found great joy in these activities, sharing countless memorable moments with friends and family.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no memorial service. The family asks that those who wish to honor Albert’s memory do so by cherishing the time spent with loved ones and by engaging in the activities that bring them joy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
