Alex enjoyed anything outdoors, especially hunting, golf and football. He was always smiling and never met a stranger. Alex was a friend to the “underdog”. He attended Augusta Tech for the welding program and was of the Methodist faith.
Family members include to his mother: Nan Sherrill and step-father: Tony Sherrill; father: Randy Milam; grandfather: LD Waters; uncle: Butch Waters; aunt: Jenny Patch; cousins: Benjamin Smith; special cousin: Nicole Waters Mullins and husband C.J. and daughters: Annabelle and Georgia Mullins, and canine companions: Brinley and Bo. Alex is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Kandy Waters; paternal grandparents: Tennis and Irene Milam and favorite Uncle: Russ Smith.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7, 2016, 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Randal Monk officiating. Interment to be held at 3:00 P.M. at North Newington Baptist Church, 11572 Newington Hwy, Newington, GA 30449.
