Augusta, GA – Entered into rest with the Lord, Wednesday, June 13, 2012, Mr. William Alexander Nickelson, 56, beloved husband of Mrs. Sherry Nickelson.
Mr. Nickelson was born in Milledgeville, GA and resided in Augusta. He was a painter for E-Z-Go Textron Company for over 30 years. Mr. Nickelson was a beloved husband and father.
Family members in addition to his wife include: daughter: Joy Nickelson Simpson (Patrick); son: William Richard Nickelson; five grandchildren; brother: Samuel Mark Nickelson; mother: Barbara Willene Nickelson. Alex is predeceased by his father: Richard Alvin Nickelson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Pastor John Raborn officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
