Augusta, GA – Alice G. Bazemore wife of the late Mr. Willard F. Bazemore passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Augusta Gardens Senior Living Center, Augusta, GA. Born in Tarrytown, NY she was a resident of Augusta since 1946. She was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church and also a member and past president of the Pine Needle Garden Club.
Survivors include a son: Robert W. Bazemore, Sr. (Lisa); grandson: Robert W. Bazemore, Jr. (Amy); a great granddaughter: Emma Alice Bazemore; nieces: Laura Fantom and Tracy Gross; nephew: Roger Gross and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Day Chapel at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Ingram, celebrant. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the staff of Augusta Gardens and Alliance Hospice for their kind and faithful service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Social Services, 811 12th Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
