Augusta, GA – Entered into rest May 22, 2013 at Trinity Hospital, Allen Ludwick, 84, husband of Peggy Ludwick.
Mr. Ludwick attended First Baptist Church of Augusta for 52 years. He was a member of the church orchestra and played the trombone with other local groups such as the Augusta Community Band, the Augusta Symphony Orchestra, and the Aiken Community Band. Mr. Ludwick retired from the Augusta Chronicle Herald with 30 years of service.
In addition to his wife, family members include sons: Timothy Ludwick of Evans, GA, Brian Ludwick and wife Nina of Muncie, IN; daughters: Ellen Ludwick Shannon and late husband Allen Shannon of McDonough, GA and Emily L. Salmon of McDonough, GA; grandchildren: Katherine Gaddy, Taylor Ludwick, Matthew Hammers, Taylor Bussey, Jack Salmon, Karlee Ludwick, and Georgia Ludwick.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. in the Storey Chapel of First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Greg DeLoach officiating.
