Augusta, GA – Entered into rest February 15, 2016, Ms. Allison C. McKinney at the age of 76.
Ms. McKinney was a native of Asheville, NC but lived in the Summerville area of Augusta. She was a member of the Augusta Garden Club. Ms. McKinney enjoyed antiquing and painting. She loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
Family members include son: Brian J. McKinney (Sandra) of Augusta; daughters: Casey M. Metzger (David) of Pensacola, FL and Lisa McDowell (Paul) of Augusta; grandchildren: Ashleigh Anne McKinney, Lauren E. McKinney, Benjamin R. McDowell and Courtney C. Metzger.
The funeral service will be Saturday, February 20, 2016, 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor David Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Humane Society, P.O. Box 12035, Augusta, GA 30914-2035
