Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, April 8, 2011, Mrs. Allyson Catchings, 28, wife of Mr. Christopher E. Catchings.
Mrs. Catchings was lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a housewife and mother who loved her son with all her heart.
Family members include: parents, Gary and Kathy Powell; son, Gatlin E. Catchings; husband, Christopher E. Catchings; brothers, Gary A. Powell, Jr. (Michelle); sister, Angela McKeown (Hugh); grandmother, Sarah Videtto (Tony); numerous aunts, uncles, neices, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her grandmother Jeanine Slagter.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Marty Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Nick Shealy, Chris Shealy, Tommy Jones, Jason Powell, Brad Powell and Greg Powell, Jr.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridges of Hope, 10031 Coffee Road

The family will receive friends Monday, April 11, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
