Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, December 26, 2021, Mr. Alton Hill, 86.

Alton was a family man and adored his family. He retired from Graniteville Company after working there for over 40 years. An avid outdoorsman, Alton enjoyed hunting and fishing. In retirement, he and his wife enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. A devout Christian, Alton loved the Lord.

Family members include his children: Vickie Delrie and Richard Hill (Cheryl); grandchildren: Ashlee Delrie, Chris Hill (Jennifer), Melissa Hill, and Stephen Hill; great grandchildren: James Weeks, Ansleigh Washam, Chase Weeks, Clayton Hill, Michael Hill, Benjamin Hill, Colton Pilson and Beckham Pilson; and great great grandchild: Kacen Washam. Alton was preceded in death by his wife: Edna M. Hill; brothers: Allen Hill and Richard Hill; sister: Magdalene Ferguson and granddaughters: Stephanie Delrie and Rebecca Delrie.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
