Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, December 18, 2014, Mr. Alvin Bradshaw, 79, husband of the late Mi Young Bradshaw.
Mr. Bradshaw served his country in the United States Army and Civil Service for 43 years. For 25 of those years, he served with the United States Department of State.
Family members include son: Richard Bradshaw (Brenda) of Graniteville, SC; daughters: Carolyn Axt (David) of Burnsville, MN and Sandra Bradshaw of Margate, FL; grandsons: Arron Bradshaw, Landon Icenhour, and Josh Icenhour; granddaughters: Audrey Axt and Victoria Axt. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion Lee Bradshaw and Margaret Moon Bradshaw and his brothers, Douglas Bradshaw and Freddie Lee Bradshaw.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Don Prosser officiating. The family will receive friends and family following the service at the home of Richard Bradshaw, 745 Callaway Drive, Graniteville, SC 29829, beginning at 3:00 P.M.
A memorial service will be held in Margate, FL at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society: 2607 Commons Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30907.
