AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Friday, August 28, 2009, at University Hospital, Mrs. Ann Hadden Harn, 75, wife of the late Willis B. Harn.
Mrs. Harn was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Avera, a former member of Second Baptist Church of Augusta and attended National Hills Baptist Church in Augusta. She was a hairdresser for over 50 years. Her real calling and lifelong vocation was that of loving caregiver for family, friends and her customers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was an angel and will be missed by all who loved her.
Family members include her son: Robert W. Harn and wife Tina; daughter: Joy Harn Wheeler and husband Tim; grandchildren: William Joseph Wheeler, Emily Anne Harn, and John Robert Harn; nieces: Pam Hadden DeMeyers and Georgann Hadden.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Kevin Steele officiating. Graveside interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Avera, GA with Rev. Donald Lumpkin assisting.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1350 Church St., Avera, GA 30803 or to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909.
