Ann Y. Maxwell

Augusta, GA - Ann Yvonne Maxwell entered into heavenly rest on Friday, April 7, 2023.

A native of Augusta, GA Ann was born on February 13, 1942. She attended The Academy of Richmond County and graduated in 1961. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Ann is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 46 years, William “Bill” Maxwell. She is also survived by her children, Perry, Phillip, and Vicki and their families. Ann was proud to be called “Nana” by her nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Ann is preceded in death by her son: William “Little Bill” Maxwell; her parents: William and Ruth Reynolds; her sister: Williemae Faulkner and her three brothers: Tom, Joe, and Billy Reynolds.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday. April 12, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Alan Faulkner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Augusta University Cancer Research, Georgia Cancer Center, 1411 Laney Walker Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30912.
