AUGUSTA, GA – Ann Osbon Mielke, retired nurse, entered into rest on October 14, 2011 at Trinity Hospital.
Ann is survived by sons: Michael C. Osbon (Kristan), Christopher G. Osbon, and John W. Osbon, grandchildren: Emily Ellis Osbon and David G. Osbon, sister: Jane Ellis. She was predeceased by her parents: Ann Chivington Ellis and George Johnson Ellis.
Ann was born in Chattanooga, TN. After her marriage she lived in the Augusta-North Augusta area for more than forty years. She studied at Converse College and received her nursing degree from the University of South Carolina at Aiken. A loving mother and grandmother. Ann enjoyed books, art, photography and music. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909.
