Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, August 18, 2012, Mrs. Ann Page Machovec, 82 “A Lady of Hospitality”, wife of Mr. Richard “Dick” Machovec.
Mrs. Machovec was in fellowship with believers at Martinez Bible Chapel. She spent many years on the staff at Augusta Christian Schools. Mrs. Machovec also loved playing Scrabble with her grandchildren and letting them help make fruitcakes at Christmas.
Family members in addition to her husband include son: David Machovec (Jill) of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter: Kimberly M. Rogers (Steve) of North Augusta; grandchildren: Rebekah, Ashley, Sarah, Steven, Israel, Eve, Matthew, Christian, Leah, Anna, Rachel, and Rebekah; great grandchildren: Paige, Charlie, Cole and Henry; brothers: Bobby Richardson, Charlie Page, Joe Page and James Lamb and sister: Jean Walker. Mrs. Machovec was predeceased by her daughter Mary Jo Croft.
The family wishes to thank Jenny Williams and Orlando Luke for their loving care.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at Martinez Bible Chapel. Interment will follow at a later date at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please make charitable contributions in remembrance of Mrs. Ann P. Machovec to Augusta Christian Schools 313 Baston Road, Martinez, GA 30907.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall where food will be served.
