Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, October 13, 2017, Ann Crawford Whaley, 87, loving wife of 66 years to William R. Whaley.

Mrs. Whaley was born in Spartanburg, SC, and was a graduate of Converse College. She taught at John Milledge Elementary, Tubman Junior High and Westside High School and retired from the Richmond County Board of Education after 30 years. Mrs. Whaley was a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church.

Family members, in addition to her husband, include daughter: Libby Perry (Dr. David W. Perry); grandsons: Dr. Lane Perry (Savanna), Paul Perry. She was the daughter of the late J. Homer and Pauline L. Crawford.
A graveside services will be Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at

Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
