Mrs. Anna Ermacoff

Mrs. Anna Ermacoff, 90, entered into rest on Monday, June 6, 2011. She was the wife of the late George M. Ermacoff for over 50 years.

Anna was born in Avella, Pennsylvania on October 10, 1920 to Michael and Rose Knish. She was office manager at Royal Mobile Park in Washington, PA.

Her only daughter, Mary Jo Shingler, predeceased her. She is survived by two grandchildren, Michael Bradley Shingler of Augusta, Georgia and Dr. Megan Marie Shingler of Chicago, Illinois; sister, Martha McNary of Washington, PA; son-in-law William Shingler and wife Debra of Augusta, GA and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three sisters: Julia Knish Dzura, Josephine Knish Vukoder, and Frances Knish; three brothers, William (Bill) Knish, Pete Knish and John “Sonny” Knish.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Washington, PA with Rev. Thomas O’Neil officiating. Internment will follow with her family at Washington Cemetery, Washington, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909, or a charity of one’s choice.
