Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, December 23, 2012, Mrs. Anne M. Hembree, loving wife of 47 years to Mr. Carey D. Hembree.
Mrs. Hembree was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She retired as a manager after 30 years of service from AAFES at Fort Gordon. She enjoyed camping and gardening. She loved her family deeply and her four-legged companion Snuggles.
Family members in addition to her husband include daughter: Connie Durham; grandson: Keith Cenate; and granddaughter: April Durham. Mrs. Hembree was preceded in death by her son Ronnie Cenate.
A funeral service will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
