Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, September 27, 2010 at her home, Mrs. Anneliese A. Childers, 74, wife of the late Mr. Elmer E. Childers.
Anneliese A. Childers was born in Hirschberg, Germany and she grew up in Karlsruhe, Germany. After her husband’s retirement from the Army, Mrs. Childers spent her years in Augusta, as a Traffic Controller for Boral Bricks.
Family members include daughters: Maria Childers, Woodstock, IL; Erika Childers, Martinez, GA; son: Henry Childers, Woodstock, GA; sister: Erica Bennett; brother-in-law: Karl Bennett; niece: Tanya Bennett; nephews: Terry and Scott Bennett; grandchildren: Heather, Christopher, Anthony; and great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Samantha, and Anna Lisa.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. at The Lutheran Church of Resurrection with Pastor David Hunter officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the memorial service.
