Annie Elizabeth Kreis
Evans, GA Entered into rest Friday, June 12, 2020, Annie Elizabeth Kreis, 80, beloved wife of Richard Frederick Kreis.
Annie was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on June 28th, 1939 to the late William Daniel Brighton, Sr. and Mary Hannah Kocher Brighton. The family moved to New Jersey where Annie lived the majority of her life. She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School. Upon her marriage to Richard, she moved to Berlin, NJ and later on to Cherry Hill, NJ. After her retirement as the assistant to the librarian at Eastern High School in Voorhees, NJ, she moved to Evans, GA with her husband.
Annie was the youngest of six children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Irvine and brother-in-law Ed Irvine, brother William Brighton, Jr. and sister-in-law, Alta Brighton, sister Doris Lass, and granddaughter Christine Harmon.
Annie is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Richard Frederick Kreis; daughter Allison Neff (Mark) and their children Laura Colafrancesco (Tony), Rebecca Denson (Blane), Erik Neff (Tiffany), John Neff; and daughter Pamela Harmon (Robert) and their daughter Elizabeth Bellay (Adam); brother-in-law Paul Lass; sister Geraldine Brighton; brother Gerald Brighton (Sylvia) and numerous nephews and nieces.
Annie loved her pets throughout the years but especially her dachshund, Molly. She enjoyed baking, making roast beef dinners, gardening, tomatoes, and taking drives with her husband. Annie will be remembered for her warm hugs, easy smile, friendly manner and the love she had for her family.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel.
