Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, August 23, 2011, Mrs. Annie Louise Walker, 90, wife of the late Joe Walker.
Mrs. Walker was a life long resident of Augusta and Martinez. She was a member of St. Luke Anglican Catholic Church. Mrs. Walker graduated from Cosmetology School. She was also a member of the Joe Walker Sunday School Class and St. Luke’s Sunday School Class.
Family members include son: Henry Leroy Walker (Levine) of Martinez, daughters: Betty Joe Collins (James), Ruth Middleton, Ann Brinson (Charles) all of Martinez, GA, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 24 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11:00A.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel with Rev. Dan McAughey officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Lee Walker, Joseph Collins, Keith Middleton, Charlie Brinson, Justin Walker and Christopher House. Honorary Pallbearers will be her Great Grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Catholic Church, 3081 Wheeler Road, Augusta GA, 30909.
The family will be at the residence of Larry and Jane Hutto, 44 Westbury Ct. Grovetown, GA.
