Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, April 18, 2017, Mr. Joseph Anthony “Tony” Howell, age 68.
Tony was a lifelong resident of Augusta. He was the fourth of five children and the most beautiful baby that you would ever see. Tony was a loving, happy and joyful soul with a contagious smile. He has finished his race and is experiencing rewards of Heaven including the restoration of mind and body.
Family members include sister: Brenda Ennis; uncle: William “Billy” C. Chalker and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father: Joseph and Kaziah Howell and siblings: Larry, Emory and Cynthia Howell.
A funeral service will be Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son at 4:00 P.M. with Chaplain Race Lariscy officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lynndale, Inc. 1490 Eisenhower Drive, Augusta, GA 30904.
