Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, April 15, 2022, Mr. Anthony Frank Ruffino, Jr., 76, loving husband of Myra M. Ruffino.
Anthony was born in St. Louis, MO and enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 17. He served three tours in Vietnam and was stationed in Korea, Japan, and Germany. He retired after 27 years of service as a Sergeant Major. Following retirement, he worked at General Dynamics as an instructor/manager and retired after 19 years. He volunteered with the sound ministry at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church where he was a long-time member.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. Tony was an avid bowler with the Augusta Bowling Association. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his daughters: Michelle Landry (Todd), Kimberly Cady, and Rene Freeman (Jeff); sisters: Rosalie Richardson (Don) and Mary Ellen Hearne (Dennis); grandchildren: Elena Freeman, Justin Price (Caitlin), Kayla Cho, Madison St. John, and Lyrik Cho; and nieces: Kelley Shylanski and Genevieve Schmitt.
The memorial Mass will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 12:00 P.M. with Fr. Theodore Agba celebrant. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
