Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, April 13, 2011, Artheimise “Mimi” J. Watts, 94, widow of U.S. Army Major Russell G. Watts.

Mrs. Watts was born in Halluin, France. She was married in 1945 to US Army Captain Russell G. Watts and spent the next 12 years on duty stations with her husband in Japan, Germany and Stateside. Mrs. Watts resided in Sacramento, CA for the next 35 years then became a LPN and worked at Mercy Hospital for 25 years. She was an avid bridge player and gardener and loved to knit Afghans for her friends. Mimi was raised by her beloved grandmother, Justine Van Walleghen, and is looking forward to seeing her again.

Family members include daughters: Muriel Buchholz, Sandra S. Morrison; grandchildren, Russell Buchholz, David Rivinius (Linda), Nicole Rivinius; great grandchildren, Sydney Rivinius and Ryan Rivinius.

Services will take place at a future date in May at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Sacramento, CA.
