Dufault and wife Denise; Michael J. Atwood and wife Kelley; Christopher W. Atwood; Robert S. Dufault and wife Lori; James A. Dufault and wife Melissa, and Edward P. Dufault. He was predeceased by his sister Linda M. Atwood.
Art’s life was rich in his love for his faith, family, and friends. Music filled the rooms of his house and hearts of those surrounding him when he played guitar (by ear) and sang songs that touched the lives of so many. His musical repertoire was vast: from the early days singing worship music with the bus ministry he helped create at Wesley Free Methodist Church in Waukegan, IL, to the sounds of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s music in his latest “Vintage Art” performances in McCormick, SC, and surrounding areas.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, sibling, uncle, and friend, Art always made time to share his faith, life, and music with others. He lived out his faith in never turning down an opportunity to share the Gospel, gift of music, and other talents with his community and churches he attended. And, he would bring his guitar and music with him wherever he traveled – from Sky Lodge Christian Camp in Montello, WI, to the homes of his family across the country, to the tree lighting in downtown McCormick, SC.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son.
