Augusta, GA – Mr. Arthur Frank Williams, Jr., 56, entered into rest Monday, February 17, 2014.
Frank was a lifelong resident of Augusta. He was a well-known Trim Carpenter in the area. He had a compassionate heart for animals and was called by some “the birdman”. Frank was loved by his family and he could and would fix anything.
Family members include daughter: Lindsay Cook; granddaughter: Jasmine Cook; mother: Betty Ann Kemp; sisters: Carolyn Johnson, Gloria Browning (George), Marie Ledbetter (Herbert), Bettie Williams, Teresa Rish (Eddie); and brothers: Robert McNair (Ann) and Scottie Williams (Debbie). He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Williams.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Frank Thigpen and Rev. Todd Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in Wrens Memorial Cemetery at 4:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 225 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 550 South Tower, Atlanta, GA 30303.
