AUGUSTA, Ga. –Mr. Arthur Koerber, 66, husband of Connie D. Koerber entered into rest Sunday, October 11, 2009, at their home.

Mr. Koerber was a native of San Antonio, TX but resided in the Augusta area for the last 7 years. He served 22 years in the U.S. Army as a MSG having served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. Mr. Koerber was an avid Putt-Putt player and loved Nascar. He was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying his Cessna aircraft.

Family members in addition to his wife include his sons: Quintin Watts (Ashley), Sean Carmel, Judd Carmel; daughters: Candace Watts, Jennifer Knowlton; grandchildren: Cash, Bella, Quintin II; “Fur” children: Tux and Fancy; brothers: James Koerber(Sarah), Lee Koerber (Denise); stepbrother: Wayne Hale; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 16, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Father Michael Lubinsky officiating with full Military Honors.
