Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, March 28, 2018, Arthur Knowles Turner, 78, loving husband of Denece Servais Turner.

Mr. Turner was a native of Macon and lived in Augusta many years. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. Mr. Turner was a member and the founder of Evans Lions Club and a member of the Augusta Lions Club. He was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow award.

Family members, in addition to his wife include daughters: Kimberly Ingram (Randy), Andrea Turner (Moe); stepdaughter: Patrice McElhannon (Buddy); grandchildren: Ridge, Thomas, Eve, Steven and Megan; great grandson: Luke.

A memorial service will be Saturday, March 31, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Porterfield and Rev. Adam Hilderbrandt officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church.
