Martinez, GA. – Entered into rest Friday, September 4, 2009, at his residence, Mr. Asa Holt Daniel III, 58, husband of Ann Bailey Daniel.
Mr. Daniel was a native of North Augusta, SC and life long resident of the Augusta area.
He was a graduate of North Augusta High School and member of the Augusta Bulldog Club. Mr. Daniel was the owner of Classic Stucco and Stone.

Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: April Berry(Chris), Kim Buckalew(Stan), and Natalie Merzlak(Jeremy); sons: Jason Daniel, Chad Daniel(Melissa), and Robbie Hammett(Kelli); six grandsons and six granddaughters; his father: Asa H. Daniel, Jr.; and brother: Mark Daniel(Pat). He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Preston and Julia McKie.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Tom Kalliokski officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Chris Berry, Tommy Eubanks, Gene Lewallen, Doug Linton, Dave McKinney, Wade Maddox, Steve Merzlak and Mike Riley.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Foundation,Trinity Hospice Memorial, PO Box 31358 , Augusta, GA 30903, or Children’s Medical Center, Medical College of Georgia, 1120 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30912.
