Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, April 29, 2014, Mr. Aubrey Frontis Clark, 80, loving husband of the late Gene Cox Clark.
Mr. Clark was a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church. He was Past Master of George Walton Lodge #410 F & AM and was a Shriner. He was an entrepreneur during his lifetime. He started out in the grocery business, acquired a chain of convenience stores named “Clarks Country Stores” and most recently owned “AFC Wholesale”.
Family members include sons: Frontis Clark, Jr. (Ann) of Fayetteville, GA, Grier Clark (Amy) of Martinez, GA; grandchildren: Tiffany Clark of Boston, MA, Matthew Clark; and a sister: Virginia Portwood.
A graveside service will be Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Dr. C. Gregory DeLoach officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909.
