Augusta, GA – Austin Gray Daniels, 22, beloved son of Terri Gray Daniels and Guy W. Daniels, Jr., entered into rest, March 30, 2018.

Austin was a lifelong resident of Augusta and graduate of Augusta Christian Schools. He attended Augusta Tech and was a member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Local 283. Austin’s sweet and loving spirit shined through every life he touched. He had such a love for the Lord and his family, friends, and sports, and never hesitated to share his light with others. While in school, he was a member of the football, basketball and golf teams, and was very passionate about the UNC Tar Heels. He enjoyed music, spending time swimming at the river and lake with his friends and traveling to the Outer Banks of NC fishing and visiting his many relatives.

Family members, in addition to his parents include paternal grandparents: Joan Austin Daniels and Guy W. Daniels, Sr., maternal grandparents: Wade Gray (Rhetta), and Glenda Lovell; aunts and uncles: Marvel Daniels Bell (Charlie), Jean Tillett (Moon), Tiffany Ford, Sterling Gray, David Gray, Michael Gray, Tracy B. Meehan and Robin Shealy (Brent); great aunts and uncles: George D. Daniels (Darrow), Rose Skinner (Clarence), Jerry Austin (Metta), Carol Haywood (Bobby), and Glenn Gray (Rosemary), and many other loving cousins.

A memorial service will be Friday, April 13, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church with Dr. Mike Cash and Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be students from Augusta Christian Schools.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity on the Hill UMC, 1330 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. in the church Gathering Area.
