Barbara Harlow Cronic

Augusta, GA – Barbara (Bobbie) Harlow Cronic, 88, wife of the late Mr. Eugene Cronic went to be with Jesus Monday, February 26, 2024.

“Bobbie” was born to Henry M. & Bettie M. McKie of Augusta Ga. Upon graduation from Richmond Academy, she moved to Miami, Fl where she raised her 3 children and worked as a nurse at Baptist Hospital of Miami. After 32 yrs., she moved back to Augusta in 1990 to care for her aging mother. She was a member of First Baptist of Augusta. 

She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She lived a life full of love, service, and selflessness, always asking what she could do to help. 

She is survived by her sister Betty Ann Fair(Gordon), children Linda Harlow Jennings, Lori Harlow Turner(Mark), and Douglas Michael Harlow(Susan), Cathy Givens (Steve),Susan Trammel (Gary); grandchildren: Andrew Fisher(Larrie), Alden Fisher, Addison Fisher(Sara), Kyle Turner (Brianna), Cole Turner(Mikayla), Kelly Turner, Emily Wade(Blake), Caroline Holland(Kobe); great grandchildren: Evelyn, Andie & Gloria Fisher. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brother: Henry Martin Mackey, Jr. 

A special thanks to her loving caregivers Domenique Crawford and Sachko Neal who were invaluable as they lovingly cared for Ms. Bobbie.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 2:00pm in Westover Memorial Park with the Rev Dave Dillard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00pm.
