Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, December 28, 2017, Mrs. Barbara Virginia Hammonds, 88, loving wife of the late Mr. Ernest Henry Hammonds, Sr.
Family members, in addition to her husband include sons: Ernest Hammonds, Jr., Daniel Hammonds and wife Lynn, Wayne Hammonds and wife Syndee, daughters: Renee Snellings, grandchildren: Ernest H. Hammonds III, Benjamin Hammonds, Aniela Cantey, Jesse Hammonds, Lindi Jackson, Brandon Snellings, Justin Hammonds, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter: the late Wanda Woehler; and granddaughter: Melissa Woehler.
The funeral service will be Sunday, December 31, 2017, 2:30 P.M. at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Greenwood. SC with Pastor Jerry Jones officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers the family requests monetary donations be made to the Alzheimers/Dementia Association, 106 SRP Drive, Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
