Augusta, GA – Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, Thursday, January 31, 2013, Mrs. Barbara “Jean” Clements, age 74.
Born in Wrens, GA, Mrs. Clements was a life long resident of the CSRA. She was a Chemical Operator at Monsanto for 22 years retiring in 1997.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry H. Clements Sr. and daughter Nancy Carroll Boyle.
She is survived by her daughters: Anne Lever (Wesley), Brenda Taylor, Robin Carroll (Howard) and Tiffany Clements Long all of Augusta; Grandchildren: Brandon, Tessa, Joshua, Chad, Ryan, Michael, Jerry, Robert and James; Great Grandchildren: Gabrielle, Eli, Adyson and Miles; brother Tony Mays and sister: Shawdeen Cooper.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Mrs. Clements caregivers for all of their loving support throughout the last two years; Tiffany Clements, Wesley Lever, Melissa Clinton, Heather Williams, Kay Eckstein, Darlene Moyer and all others that helped out.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors Rev. Finley Limehouse officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at
