Augusta, GA – Ms. Barbara L. Partridge, age 76, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 23, 2011.
Mrs. Partridge was a native of Anderson, SC, but lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. Mrs. Partridge retired from MCG in the Dietician Dept. She loved gardening, pets, and bowling. Mrs. Partridge volunteered with the MCG Children’s Miracle Network Telethon, and retired Veterans. She was a charter member of Pineview Baptist Church.
She was a past director of the Women’s Bowling League and the Hall of Fame.
Family members include her brothers: William “Callie” Partridge, Reuben “Buck” Partridge; sister, Dorothy “Dot” Russell; five nephews; three nieces; and special friends: Martha Hancock, Janie Griffin, Norma Pate, Evelyn Casey, and Myra Gauldin. She was predeceased by her parents; Reuben and Laura Partridge; sisters: Ethel, Widdie, Louella; nephew, Billy Eberhardt, and niece, Deborah Russell Wright.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Pineview Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Davenport, Rev. Donald B. Wilson, and Rev. Denny Mack officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
