Augusta, GA – Ms. Barbara Mitchum, 75, entered into rest Thursday, April 5, 2012 at University Hospital.
Ms. Mitchum retired after many years of service at Kendall Company. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Family members include sons: Frederick Mitchum of Augusta, Michael Mitchum of Atlanta, daughters: Nancy Shields (Mark) of Augusta, Trina Mitchum of Augusta, grandchildren: Alan Newsome, Beth Ramos, Billy Mitchum, Mallory Sleister, Natalie Sleister, and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Eloise Johnston and brothers: Bill Johnston, and Warren Johnston.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Marty Baker officiating.
