POSTPONED DUE TO FAMILY EMERGENCY

Barbara Jean Tison (neé, Traub) passed away on October 11, 2024, in Augusta, GA at the age of 79. Born and raised in Northlake, IL, the youngest of three sisters, Barbara attended St. Charles Borromeo for her primary education followed by Siena High School in Chicago. She dedicated many years of her life working as an administrative assistant for several companies, where she was known for her diligence and kindness.

Barbara was a loving wife to her husband, James, and a devoted mother to her children, Christopher, and Jennifer. She was cherished for her warm and nurturing nature, always putting the needs of her family above her own.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication that will be fondly remembered by her family and all who knew her. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Traub and Lois Traub (neé, Corr) and and her sisters Lois Tamburi and Mary Wright. She is survived by her husband, James; son, Christopher; and daughter, Jennifer.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
