Belinda "Binnie" Jones

Augusta, GA – Belinda “Binnie” Jones entered into rest Friday, May 31, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. 

 She is survived by her daughters; Robin Rabun (Mike), Rhonda Partridge (David); grandson; Josh Partridge (Lisa), four great grandchildren; Caleb, Karleigh, McKenzie, and Emily. She is also survived by her husband; Fred Jones, siblings; Nan, Mel, Becky, Nisi (Carl), and Dur (Kay) who affectionately knew her as sister Hallelujah. Binnie loved having a large family, sister trips, and all the family gatherings at Dur and Kay's. She was the aunt to Jim, Julie, Holly, Heather, Cody, Robbie, Kayla, Trey, Tracy, and Trena who lovingly called her Nannie Binnie, that all the kids at church and school continue to call her now as do all of her great nieces and nephews. 

 Binnie loved being the Mama to Robin and Rhonda, they were her very best friends and it was an honor to be their mom, they shared so many wonderful memories, holding them in her heart forever. She loved her precious sons in law Mike and David. She was thankful that they are the good men God intended them to be and became her sons and loved her girls. 

 No one could love Josh like his Nannie. He was never too old not to have dates with Binnie. He touched her heart like nothing else ever did. They had a special bond that will never be broken.

 Binnie was thankful to Fred for many years and thankful they remained together as best friends the rest of her life. He was so good to her and her kids and never missed a family celebration ever. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for me”. 

Binnie was a former nurse at Gracewood State School and Hospital and Butler High School for many years. She was a former member of Pine Hill Baptist Church and current member Crossroads Fellowship. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

The memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Dwayne Carter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M., at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
