Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Kentwood Nursing Home, Mrs. Bette Jo Gordon, 84, wife of the late Bobby Eugene Gordon.
Mrs. Gordon was a native of Edmond, OK but resided in the Augusta area since 1967. She retired as office manager for Dr. Ken Jones. She was an avid bridge player
She is survived by her sons: Michael C. Gordon and wife Jenny of Athens, GA, Scott D. Gordon and wife Ruthann of Appling, GA; brothers: Bruce Arthur Delay of Oklahoma City, OK, Jack Delay of Kingfisher, OK; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gordon is the daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys Delay. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Forrest Delay and F. Wayne Delay.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Chaplain Ken Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
