Mrs. Gordy was a member of Abilene Baptist Church and the Shirley Farmer Sunday School Class. Mrs. Gordy was a homemaker and retired from Health Center Credit Union.

Gordy; daughter: Teresa Gordy Lamb, Waynesboro; grandchildren: Ashley Lamb Cook (Sean), Alexandria, VA; Katherine Lamb Parker (John), Savannah; great grandchildren: Emma Katherine Parker, Penelope Rose Cook, William Jones Parker; sister: Doris J. Hoffman; and brother: James Lewis Jones., Southaven, MS. Mrs. Gordy was predeceased by her husband: William E. Gordy; daughter: Catherine J. Gordy; parents: Martin Luther Jones, Sr. and Beatrice Dunn Jones; sister: Gladys J. Wirick and brothers: Jessie Willis Jones, Sr. and Martin Luther Jones, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Willis Jones, Jr; Brett Allen Jones; Frank Alvin Gordy, Jr.; Patrick Daniel Gordy; James Blake Gordy; Christopher Blaine Gordy.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Shirley Farmer Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Abilene Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Doss officiating. Burial will follow at Louisville City Cemetery, Louisville, Ga. at 3:30 P.M.
