Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, October 14, Betty Lou Kluttz, 93, loving wife of 40 years to the late Bill C. Kluttz.

Betty was born in Crump, Missouri, but later moved to Augusta where she spent the next 60 years. She was a Godly lady who loved people and never met a stranger. She attended Southside Baptist Church for decades.

Family members in addition to her late husband include her children: Paul Kluttz and Rebecca Hagen (David). She was preceded in death by her brother: Bobbie Stroder; sister: Edna Rumfelt; mother: Burl Berry Stroder; father: Vitallis Franklin Stroder and stepmother: Sadie Young Stroder; stepsiblings: Paul Young, Martin Young, Truman Young, Lou Anna Murphy and Lilly Poss.

We would like to thank all the healthcare workers who contributed to making “Miss Betty’s” later years much more comfortable especially Anita Dunson with Hospice and Dr. Riaz Rassekh and to Buzz Poteet for making these moments better with Thomas Poteet & Son.

The graveside service will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Steve Burnette and Rev. David Hagen officiating.
