Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, November 15, 2009, Betty L. Wise, 74, wife of the late Ronald T. Wise.
Betty was a native of Atlanta, GA. She was a 1957 graduate of Crawford W. Long School of Nursing. She began working in the operating room at the Medical College of Georgia in 1972 and retired as head nurse in 1995. She was a certified member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses.
Family members include her daughters: Pamela W. McKnight of Charleston, SC, Melissa and husband Pete Marcotte of Evans, GA; grandsons: Ian and LCpl Duncan McKnight USMC of Charleston, SC and Cameron Norris of Evans, GA.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating.
Memorials may be made to Augusta Humane Society, PO Box 12035, Augusta, GA 30914-2035.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, November 17, 2009
