Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, October 3, 2016, Mrs. Betty Nadine Hillman, 98, wife of 74 years to Mr. Robert Hillman.
Mrs. Hillman was a native of Alliance, Ohio but lived in the Augusta area for many years. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mrs. Hillman was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and was a voracious reader.
Family members in addition to her husband include son John and his wife Sandra; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
A funeral service will be Thursday, October 6, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Roger Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 402 Aumond Road, Augusta, GA 30909 or to a charity of one’s choice.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M.
