Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, January 6, 2012, Mrs. Betty Sue H. Cayton, 71, wife of the late Vernon Basnight Cayton.
Mrs. Cayton was a native of Alma, GA and had resided in Augusta for the past 50 years. She was a retired nursing assistant.
Family members in addition to her late husband include daughters: Connie D. Koerber of Martinez, GA and Cynthia Hellinger-Wiggins and husband Richard of Beech Island, SC; sons: Jimmie D’Wayne Etterle and husband Barry of Okatie, SC, Richard Cayton and wife Laura of Killeen, TX; grandchildren: Heather, Ricki and Jessie Cayton, Quintin and Candace Watts, Jessica Nichols, Jordan Wiggins-Sousa; great-grandchildren: Robbie Hellinger, Bella and Quintin Watts and Easton Sousa.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet and Son Chapel with Deacon Ed James officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2807 Washington Road, Suite B, #146, Augusta, GA 30909 or to the Augusta Humane Society, P.O. Box 12035, Augusta, GA 30914.
