Augusta, GA – Betty Sue Quattlebaum, 86, passed from this life on September 28, 2014, due to an extended illness. She was a professing Christian.
She was a devoted mother and an exceptional grandmother. She loved her family and worked hard in an effort to care for them. Her family will miss her.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Guy Gray (Bill) of LaGrange, Georgia; son, William R. Quattlebaum, Jr. (Kristie) of Evans, Georgia; grandchildren, Mandy Gray Daniel (Jason) of LaGrange, Georgia; William R. Quattlebaum, III (Mary Katherine) of Charlotte, North Carolina; Michael G. Gray of Opelika, Alabama; Sarah E. Quattlebaum of Athens, Georgia; Jason R. Quattlebaum of Evans, Georgia; and 8 great grandchildren.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank our father and grandfather, William R. Quattlebaum, Sr., for his loving care and devotion to our mother and grandmother for the last 62 years, and especially during these last years of her illness.
A graveside service will be held at Westover Memorial Park on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Lynda Syms officiating.
The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
