Betty Joyce Wells

On April 25, 2023, Betty Joyce Wells entered into her final rest at age 86. She is survived by her four daughters (Melvidene Wells, Rita Ellison, Erlene Graham, and Kay Ramsey), as well as five grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and even one great-great-grandchild. Betty loved her family and spending time with them. She gave great hugs, cooked delicious food, and exuded the kindness and compassion of her Savior Jesus Christ to all she met. Though we mourn her loss, we take solace that she is now reunited with her husband and the love of her life, Melvin Wells, who preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park.
