Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, October 25, 2010 at Doctor’s Hospital, Mrs. Bettye Rose Hurst Snyder.
Mrs. Snyder was born in Little Rock, AK, on July 30, 1927 to Joel Malcolm Rose and Erna Pearl Anderson Rose. She was the youngest of ten children. Mrs. Snyder was a member of Curtis Baptist Church. Mrs. Snyder had a beautiful spirit who loved cooking and working crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader. Mrs. Snyder was a devoted mother, friend and strong Christian who loved Our Heavenly Father.
Family members in addition to the love of her life, Harbin L. Hurst Sr., include her children: Harbin Layton Hurst, Jr., Gary Michael Hurst, Kathryn McCurry-Hudson, Victoria Elaine Hydrick and Jon Rodney Hurst; and 12 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her granddaughters, Olivia Nicole Hurst and Ursula Shae Criner; and her siblings.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Regency Hospice for the love and care shown Mrs. Snyder. They want to extend a special thank you to Kimberly, January, and Dr. Reimer.
A service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the mausoleum at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Tom Lowry officiating.
